From the start, D + L wanted something intimate. Not small necessarily, but warm. Woodland Ceremony Among the Trees

The ceremony took place in a sun-dappled clearing among the trees. A simple birch arch covered in autumn blooms (courtesy of Narrow Path) framed the couple as they exchanged vows. The light filtering through the leaves did most of the decorating. Guests sat on wooden chairs in the grass, close enough to hear every word, every laugh, every moment of emotion.

After they kissed and walked back down the aisle together, there was this palpable shift. The formal part was done. Now it was time to eat, drink, and be together.

The Tillerman is known for its farm-to-table approach, and they didn’t disappoint. Dinner felt like the main event, which honestly was exactly right for this couple. Long wooden tables were set under a tent, dressed with rich florals in shades of coral, burgundy, and gold. Specialty linens from BBJ Tavola added texture. Mismatched goblets and tall candles made everything feel collected over time rather than bought all at once.

The whole vibe was relaxed but elevated. Like someone took the best dinner party you’ve ever been to and turned it into a wedding reception.

As the sun set, the barn came alive. String lights and paper lanterns cast this warm glow over everything. Disco Phantom kept the energy going, and at one point the couple was hoisted up on chairs during the hora, napkins waving, everyone around them singing and clapping. Pure joy.
