J + B | Coral Beach Club Bermuda Wedding – Part 1

Setting Sail: A Thursday Evening Catamaran Cruise Around Bermuda

Some wedding weekends begin with a welcome cocktail party in a hotel ballroom. And then there are weekends that begin on the water, with the wind in your hair and the whole glittering coastline of Bermuda spread out before you like a gift. This one, thankfully, was the latter.

As guests arrived on the island ahead of the Coral Beach Club wedding, the first order of business was boarding the Zara for a sunset catamaran cruise around one of the most beautiful stretches of ocean on the planet. Bermuda has a way of making even the most well-traveled guests stop mid-sentence and simply stare, and an evening sail is perhaps the finest way to let the island do exactly that. The turquoise water, the pastel skyline, the particular quality of light that seems to exist only here at golden hour; it all conspired to produce the kind of evening that loosens shoulders, sparks laughter, and turns a group of wedding guests into something that feels more like old friends reuniting than strangers finding their sea legs.

It was, in every sense, the perfect opening note for a weekend that had very big, very colorful, very Pucci-inspired plans. The Zara simply set the tone: joyful, unhurried, and just a little bit magical. Bermuda had the guests exactly where it wanted them, and nobody was complaining one bit.

Pucci Inspired weekend

The Pucci inspired weekend of events began with a Catamaran Cruise on the Zara on Thursday evening. The following morning there was a tennis round robin followed by the rehearsal dinner which was held at the Azura on the beach. Saturday’s ceremony was on the beach at Coral Beach Club. After, the party followed the Gombey Dancers which lead the guests to the Croquet Lawn for cocktails, steele pans playing amidst rum punches.  Afterwards ,the reception started on the terrace when the couple danced to L-O-V-E followed by cold fireworks, dinner and dancing. Late night, they had a Pucci Disco party on the Frozen Hut Terrace on the beach.

The most significant story is the mother-daughter artist team that designed and curated the wedding details from paper products, invitations, detail cards, cups, hats, napkins. They even designed the Pucci inspired custom block tablecloths and customized monogramed napkins.  The full suite of uniquely designed and Pucci inspired branding made a beautiful and seamless array of colors and elements that were unparalleled.
