From the bride:
Joanie Choremi, artist, designer and founder of TwoJ Designs as well as Marketing Manager at The Art Therapy Project, and Benjamin Goldfarb, owner and chief officer at Goldfarb Properties, met on Stratton Mountain in the winter of 2017. The two chased one and other down the ski slopes while bonding over their previous Colorado lifestyles. After a day of skiing, Ben wooed Joanie with his classic vegetable lasagna, which was the spark of their lasting love story. Time took its toll, however, and they did not reconnect until later that summer. Finding each other on the dance floor at a club out in East Hampton, Joanie and Ben instantly remembered their winter ski day and they hit it off immediately – they have had a blast together ever since.
Joanie (Bride) and Joanie (Mother of the Bride) have both had a passion for painting and design. The two first collaborated for Joanie’s wedding at The Coral Beach Club Bermuda in June 2022. Inspired by Emilio Pucci’s ethereal, vintage, floral motifs, the two J’s created the entire invitation suite, paper products, weekend and detail cards, signature cups and hats, cocktail napkins and two block print tablecloths in addition to a custom linen napkin. Carrying a theme throughout the weekend, presented a seamless array of colors and elements offering a personal, creative and unique touch for the wedding (the wedding night even ended with a Pucci Disco!). Since this initial project, Joanie and Joanie founded TwoJ Designs and now create special, one-of-a-kind designs for other brides and clients. From the first impression of the save the date to the lasting impact of custom tablecloths, the two J’s aim to tell a story with creative flair and a distinct personality all while complimenting a client’s taste.
